Velazquez at the Grand Palais.

This exhibition was organized by the Réunion des musées nationaux – Grand Palais and the Louvre Museum.

A major figure in the history of art, Diego Velázquez (1599-1660) is undoubtedly the most famous painter of the Spanish Golden Age.

The exhibition puts his work in dialogue with numerous paintings by artists of his time whom he may have known, admired or influenced.
